Even Cowgirls get the blues

Have you see the Wildfox s/s campaign yet? I'm sure you did. Nice. Cute. Pink. And 90's.
(Everything is so 90's by now, and 90's was so “70's wannabe”... I'll speak about this in a dedicated post)

Less “indie” than other, it reminds us to the clouds and dust of Van Sant's movie, but cuter, and pinker . The models look more like hot chicks than Tuff Cowgirls.

Have you see the movie? I don't think it's the Van Sant's weakest film as claimed, but the novel witch is based on is actually on another level.

Sissy and Bonanza Jellybean
aka
Uma Thurman and River Phoenix

So...Most Important: Have you read the book?

Tom Robbins's feminist anarchic manifesto “even cowgirls get blues”, 1973

If you don't, I envy you the opportunity of read it for the very first time, 'cause you still have all the roads to cross in Sissy Hankshaw's eyes and all psychedelic adventures to live through Tom Robbins' pen.

American counterculture and early '70s values come flooding back like a peyote-induced dream in his words

- Chink: "Good! You seem much more in balance!"
Sissy: "But one (thumb - again, read the book) is huge and the other is little!"
Chink: "You're making a common mistake. You're confusing symmetry with balance." -
